The Samaria Gorge is one of the most impressive and popular gorges in Europe. Stretching 16 kilometres in length and 2 to 2.5 meters wide, it is open to visitors from May to October. A highlight of the hike is its endpoint, which leads to the Libyan Sea. This stunning area is classified as a National Park and is protected by UNESCO.
