Preveli Beach is one of the most unique beaches on the island, known for its stunning and unparalleled beauty. It features a beautiful sandy coastline along with a gorge, river, and lagoon. Preveli is located at the delta where the Kourtaliotis River meets the sea and is also referred to as Lake Preveli or Phoenix. The landscape here feels almost exotic, with a lush forest of palm trees providing a striking backdrop against the green waters. To preserve its wild beauty, the area has no infrastructure and is protected by the Natura 2000 network.
